The Off-Grid Survival Show Team
Di Page (Hammill/Wood)
Show founder, Di (Hammill/Page) has ran Wild Harvest School of Self-Reliance for over 15 years, empowering people to live self-reliantly in Nature.
Having left academia in the late 90’s to raise her own three children alone in an off-grid green painted caravan, in a remote Moorland dale. She chose to return to teaching, but in the lifestyle skills that was their simple way of existence teaching foraging, basket weaving, candle and toiletries making initially from the kitchen table. Di is a Member of the Association of Foragers, Archery GB coach, a permaculture design teacher, biodynamic trained, a ‘natural’ beekeeper, black belt in Tae Kwon Do and has recently completed survival medic training.
Moving to a rented farm in York, and setting up an off-grid tipi site sustainable education venue, the business has grown from strength to strength with customers from as far away as Dubai and China and Di now feels the market is ready for a National show in self-reliance as there is much mainstream awareness of the need to re-skill and downshift. The mission of the show is to empower people to greater self-reliance. Naturally.
Di and the Team would love you join them in this mission!
